INTRODUCTION

Key Laboratory of Eco-materials Advanced Technology (KLEAT) is a research platform attached to the College of Materials Science and Engineering. Prof. Yan Yu is appointed as the director of KLEAT. Currently, there are 26 research fellows in KLEAT, including 8 professors, 9 associated professors, 6 lecturers, and 3 technicians.

The fundamental understanding and technology development of adsorption materials, eco-materials, and biomass conversion are the main research fields of KLEAT. Our researches and technologies are widely applied in many waste water purification, utilization of solid waste, CO/SO₂ oxidation, technology of high efficiency biomass resource conversion, etc. In the last 5 years, KLEAT has received 14 national research projects, total funding of 29.46 million yuan. KLEAT has published 96 papers and developed 65 patents.

We are obligated to promote the development of green economy, society, and high education of Fujian province. Each year, around 100 postgraduate students study in KLEAT. We share our advanced research and technology with government, research institutes, and companies to protect the environment, develop the green industry.
